As part of Kopla Engineering’s expansion in Georgia, our team was selected to deliver a comprehensive suite of design and engineering services for a new advanced manufacturing facility. Our scope began with architectural planning and design, ensuring that the layout, function, and visual presence of the facility aligned with both operational needs and corporate standards.
We provided full structural engineering services, designing a resilient and efficient framework tailored to support the building’s equipment loads, assembly lines, and high-traffic industrial use. Our design also considered long-term adaptability for future expansions or process changes.
We engineered all primary building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, utility, and fire protection—ensuring that the facility could meet rigorous safety standards, production demands, and energy performance requirements. Our designs supported optimal climate control, efficient power distribution, and safe utility management.
A key aspect of this project was our close coordination with Kopla’s process and manufacturing equipment team. We integrated customer-furnished equipment layouts into our design to ensure seamless alignment between building infrastructure and production workflows. We also worked hand-in-hand with Kopla’s selected civil engineer to maintain cohesion between the site’s external grading, utility connections, and building entry points.
Through a collaborative and technically detailed process, our team helped bring Kopla Engineering’s Georgia facility to life—supporting their mission of delivering next-generation materials to the global automotive industry.
