December 11, 2025

On Thursday, December 11, 2025 – Innovation and global networking took center stage as the World Korean Trade Association (World-OKTA) Atlanta Chapter hosted its Annual General Meeting and Year-End Celebration at the modern and vibrant N-Gineers Headquarters. The event served as both a reflection on a year of accomplishments and a launchpad for ambitious plans in 2026.

The evening began with a comprehensive review of the chapter’s 2025 initiatives, highlighting milestones achieved between April and November. Members celebrated a major achievement: being named an Outstanding Chapter at the World Korean Business Convention, a testament to Atlanta’s growing influence in the global Korean business network.

Adding to the excitement, the chapter introduced a refreshed leadership team, including Chairman Richard Han, Auditor Seonghak Lee, and Next-Gen Committee Chair Anna Yoo. Their commitment to driving innovation and fostering opportunities for emerging entrepreneurs set an optimistic tone for the year ahead.

Chapter President Sun Park opened the celebration with a heartfelt message, recalling his pledge to position Atlanta as a “startup hub” and expressing pride in the progress made. Distinguished guests, including leaders from KOTRA Atlanta and the Korean American Association of Atlanta, offered congratulatory remarks, underscoring the chapter’s role in strengthening economic ties and supporting next-generation talent.

The event wasn’t just about speeches—it was a true celebration. Guests enjoyed networking sessions that bridged generations, recognition ceremonies honoring key contributors, and lively cultural performances. Highlights included the presentation of Best Partner Awards to Morgan Stanley VP Pam Li and Metro City Bank, acknowledging their unwavering support, and a stunning popera performance by Christine Jung, which brought the evening to a memorable close.

By hosting this milestone event at N-Gineers HQ, World-OKTA Atlanta showcased its commitment to innovation and collaboration. As the chapter looks ahead to 2026, its focus remains clear: empowering entrepreneurs, expanding global networks, and making Atlanta a beacon for Korean startups.
