Our team was engaged to provide full A.S.M.E.P. (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) design services for a new 140,000 square foot GLOVIS facility in Alabama. The project was a vital part of the company’s regional logistics expansion and was developed to support large-scale warehousing, distribution, and vehicle processing operations.
We began with architectural planning and detailing, tailoring the building layout to optimize circulation for both personnel and automated handling systems. The design focused on functionality, workflow efficiency, and adaptability to future process adjustments.
The structural design of the facility was developed to accommodate high-load storage, material handling equipment, and docking operations. Special attention was given to foundation systems and framing to ensure stability and durability under industrial conditions.
Our team also provided comprehensive mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering, including HVAC design for climate-controlled areas, high-efficiency lighting systems, and fire protection measures that met all applicable codes and safety requirements. Each system was designed to integrate smoothly with GLOVIS’s operational technology and to support around-the-clock logistics activities.
Through our fully integrated A.S.M.E.P. approach, we helped lay the groundwork for a robust and future-ready facility that supports Hyundai GLOVIS’s continued mission of delivering world-class logistics and supply chain solutions across the automotive industry.
