2014

Sejin, a global manufacturer and supplier of precision automotive components, continues to expand its U.S. operations in support of major OEMs across the Southeastern United States. As part of this growth, Sejin commissioned a new warehouse facility designed to enhance their regional storage and distribution capacity, improve material handling efficiency, and support just-in-time delivery models to their manufacturing partners.

Our team was engaged to provide specialized structural engineering services for the new warehouse facility. The scope of work began with the development of detailed structural foundation system drawings, ensuring long-term stability and support for the building’s high-volume storage demands and industrial equipment loads. The foundation design was tailored to the site’s geotechnical conditions and the operational requirements of the facility.
We also delivered complete steel building framing plans and sectional details, designing a durable and cost-effective structural framework to support the large clear-span warehouse environment. The steel framing system was engineered for both structural integrity and design efficiency, allowing for optimal interior space utilization and overhead clearance for loading operations.
Additionally, we provided detailed designs for the framing of rolling doors, ensuring proper integration into the structural shell while accommodating the movement of large goods and equipment through the facility.
With a focus on safety, constructability, and performance, our structural services contributed to the successful execution of Sejin’s warehouse project—supporting their continued growth and reinforcing their presence in the competitive U.S. automotive supply chain.
