Byungkwan is a dedicated and highly skilled structural engineer with over 8 years of diverse experience in structural design and construction management. Throughout their career, Byungkwan has had the opportunity to work across various sectors, including residential buildings, commercial structures, and infrastructure projects such as bridges and retaining walls. With a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from New Mexico State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Kyonggi University, Byungkwan has gained international experience, having worked in both the U.S. and South Korea. Their expertise spans a wide range of materials, including wood, steel, masonry, concrete, and prestressed concrete.

Byungkwan's specialization lies in the structural design of buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects, with a focus on ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. They have designed various structures, including schools, churches, residential buildings, high-rise complexes, and bridges. In addition to design, Byungkwan is experienced in managing construction processes, performing site visits, handling construction documentation (such as RFIs and specifications), and conducting structural analysis using advanced software like AutoCAD, MIDAS CIVIL, RISA, and ENERCALC. They also have expertise in bridge load rating and evaluation, as well as temporary shoring and retaining wall design.

Beyond their professional work, Byungkwan is deeply interested in advancing sustainable engineering practices and incorporating innovative technologies into their designs. They are passionate about finding solutions that not only meet structural and safety standards but also enhance the functionality and longevity of the built environment. Byungkwan enjoys collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, continuously learning from new challenges, and applying their expertise to create designs that positively impact communities. Additionally, they have a strong commitment to construction safety and ensure that every project adheres to the highest standards of quality and safety.
